Noise suppression

ʹѺʹعҹ෤Ԥ : Noise suppression

LENSO: Noise suppression

Noise Type Source and Effect Corrections
1. Transmitted noiseCurrents flowing in theInstall filters and surge absorber
power line are transmittedon the power line.
by signal lines. NoiseUse sufficiently heavy earth line.
sources include transientUse shield cables with
appropiate shield grounding.
and leak current in power
, ground lines and induced
current.
2. Crosstalk (Electromagnetically
coupled)
Mutual inductances between nearby signal
lines
Use twisted pairs cable.
Separate cable by tape : AC from DC, power from signal,
high frequency from low
frequency, high voltage from
analog.
3. Crosstalk (Static coupled)
Noise voltages are passed
betwwen adjacent cables
due to the static
capacitanceassociated withthe cableinsulation.
Transmit signals using twisted pairs or coaxial cable.
Use twisted pairs with shield as
necessary
4.RadiatednoiseCable function as antennas, receiving RF
emissions from nearby
equipment.
Use cable with shield coverage
exceeding 80%.
Use fully shield connectors.
5.Self induced (static noise)Static electric discharge
when friction between cablecomponents causes
charge buildup on the
insulation.
Use a flexible low friction cable
that can easily accommodate
cable movement, or redesign
the cablemounts to minimize
cables stress during bending
and flexing.
Employ a cable with a
semiconductive layer under the
shield to allow charges to drain
to ground.
